Baylis Medical Company Inc. is pleased to announce it has reached an agreement to sell its cardiology business to Boston Scientific Corporation.

Baylis Medical announced today the first clinical use of the VersaCross® Large Access Solution in Canada, to perform a Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) procedure.

The company is establishing a manufacturing plant in La Lima Free Zone, in Cartago, where it will manufacture cardiovascular products to serve global markets.
